Local permaculture luminary Michael Judd shared some of his cuttings (thank you!) but we're not sure which is which (yet). Elderberry makes for an excellent understory shrub in a food forest or understory. Grows to about 12’. Very tolerant of, and in fact thrives with, regular pruning. Both the flowers and the berries of the elderberry have culinary and medicinal uses.
